  1. Damian, Hope you are well. I know at the time you must have been worried, but looking back now this will have set you in good stead for the future, the birds will have learned so much in there time - I would like to be you don't lose many now after that. Good luck for the YB season.
  2. Dave, how long is the Pau / Tarbes race after the Tours race, and what is the distance from Tours to your loft? If it was me (and bear in mind the maximum I have raced is 527 miles), I would look at a race of 350 miles maximum, a couple of weeks before the 'BIG' race, then they would be just exercised around the loft upto basketting with possibly a short training spin on the week of basketting. We have found that to be successful for us upto 527 miles, but whether it would work for bigger distances I am not sure, but if I did race to big distances that is how I would do it. Hope this helps

  20. Used both the tablet and powder forms Tablet for an individual that isn't too well, and the powder every few weeks for a day when they are racing. Both excellent products - we have never had a pigeon not recover when they have had the tablet! Strongly recommend them.
  21. Hi Dave good to see you return to this wonderful sport of ours. Great to see the marvelous offers you have had for youngsters - if you need any more send me a pm and I can probably sort a couple of pair of youngsters from the stock birds later in the season (probably June) (free of course, you would just have to sort out the carriage). Ignore the people who say don't bother, they are talking out of their backsides, you get what pleasure you want out of it......

  25. We 12 young birds that needed to go to Scotland. Wayne collected them last night around 7:45pm, poor thing looked shattered (been a crash on the motorway so he was on the road hours). The birds were dropped off in Scotland at 12:30pm today in super condition. He has kept me informed all the time with dates/times etc, which is superb. I would most definately be using him again and would recommend him to anyone. Keep up the good work pal :) :)
