  1. From memory I think that PARASTOP is made up of Sulfamethazole and Trimethoprin. Hope this helps
  2. Lovely gesture I am sure he will breed some crackers from them very well bred birds
  3. Ernie Goodyear in Barnsley has some cracking directs - his number was in the BHW last week advertising the Kassel & Dortmund shows.
  4. We have all kinds in ours, it makes no difference at all at the young bird stage.
  5. I don't know if this has already been said (as I have not read all the posts) Does the constant use of antibiotics on pigeons have an effect on the immune system and future generations
  6. Ours had to be last Saturday Topping the fed for the first time - from Falaise 21ypm in front of next pigeon - flying 312 miles, 7hrs on the wing. Other 'Highlights' 2nd & 3rd Fed, 16 & 24th (I think) Combine Le Mans 375 Miles (4000 Birds). 5th & 16th Fed Poitiers 474 Miles - Both on the day, sent 2. 16th & 19th Fed Saintes 527 Miles - again both on day.
  7. Nothing wrong at all with hardboard as a covering for the floor, have it rough side up though. We are replacing ours this year - its been down for 10 years and is only being replaced as we are giving the loft a sprucing up - when you have laid it, coat it with a coating of wood glue mixed with water - that will do the trick. Trust me. :)
  8. Stocksbridge Fed - Amptill - Race cancelled for weekend. Central Derbyshire Fed - Portsmouth - basketting postponed for 24 hours - decision wll be made in the morning if we are to basket on Saturday night for a Sunday race (race point may alter).
  9. 6 Years - bred in 1999 first race it went to was Amptill - 100 Miles - came back 6 years later must heve been living wild - trapped through door as if it had never been away. Cleaned it out, but it in the stock loft, bred winners staright away ;D ;D ;D
  10. John, Sedochol is used for cleansing / purifying the liver. Use it once a week, I would recommend you use it early in the week when you are racing.

  15. Cracking idea mate - I will confirm details for you nearer time, including the proposed lib time. I have been racing for 20 years now and never once been to a liberation - Something I must do.
  16. I think the Stocksbridge Fed have on 6th September - Why do you ask?
  17. Well done Damian, glad you got them all. Take it easy with them for the rest of the season and you should have something to go with next year with the old birds. (those hens still ok for you?)
  18. Stocksbridge Fed at St Albans 119 Miles - Liberated at 7:30 - to press we have 19 out of 21. Central Derbyshire Fed at Marlborough 134 Miles - Liberated at 10:15 - sent 18 got 18.
  19. If it was me mate I would definately have the flight on the front of it, the birds will love it especially when the sun is shining, you are also letting more air/light into the main loft. You can also give the birds the flight in the winter to bath, without having to let them out
  20. Sad people, very sad people indeed. People who do such a thing are one of the reasons we are suffering these days - its not about being a sportsman its about trying to put something over someone. If they get caught they shuold be brought to the councils and dealt with accordingly.
  21. We got 18 out of 19 from Marlbrough - 134 miles to us. Bit of an erratic race with alot of birds coming out of the back! Some people I konw had a few missing.
  22. Hi Steve Its the 8th & 9th of November. - Suberb Show
