A question that keeps coming up.Why do the entries have to be in and paid for by the 1st Nov ? Easy to answer this one as its common sense really. Their are a few reasons. We need a certain entry to make this venture feasible. We need to guarantee prize money early on as well as have enough to cover all expenses, transportation, premises, etc etc. Also, we have to get and pay for distances early on and get everything in place well before race day. If we get a massive entry then we need time to get the correct transportation in place (which may incur getting insurances, tax etc ) If you have paid for your entries early then you are unlikely to pull out nearer the race date. If this race continues next year then we will know a lot more and will tweak things to suit, be patient with us as its the first time its been run in this area.

Youd be better just have folk paye for the 5 entries and not have to put ring numbers down on a sheet etc . To much chance of some missing over next 2 months . Pay now put ring numbers on sheet on race day . If you trained 10 the chances are the 5 will not be there for xmas
