walterboswell59 Posted October 31, 2015 Author Report Posted October 31, 2015 Has your hen Jenna recovered well from her time out at the gold cup ? Think you mentioned she had a few bumps / bruises on her return ?yes 100 percent ok now pal thanks so no excuses next year for her to be honest i always fancied her more than the cock but he proved me wrong and has won at 500 miles in three different winds and won the section to waited a long time to have two birds as good as these two now its all about getting them to the race think im going to lose a lot of sleep before gold cup time lol but its what we all strive for a lot of luck needed to but would not have it any other way had so many years of not even getting a timer and feeling gutted its great to have a shot at having birds you have confidence in and if i do my bit and they get a wee bit luck they will do it and the great thing for me is ive a loft full bred from them and around them all this years youngbirds and yearling latebreds to many get a good bird turning up and when it goes down they are left with nothing to build on been there but old age has wised me up and i bred from them both in the winter to keep the blood of both of course its no garntee but ill take my chances knowing the 500 bloodlines are there on both sides
