The races you spoke about , well the returns tell the true story .

hotrod Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 And Alec Ypres was also a west wind ,so would be against west birds
Delboy Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Daft topic this, same old nonsense sh ite. The pigeon game is pathetic
philg50 Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 Long time since i put a bird over the water but why dosnt racing turn to the East and race say from the likes of Oslo would that not be fair all round to North lofts and South lofts alike just a thought sensible answers noo lads .It is about 500mls to Aberdeen or ,Aalburg Denmark 450mls ,there used to be races from Faroes across the atlantic and Pentland firth.
tyson Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 you would never get the birds over the north sea

Good post m8, theres nothing fair in this sport but we can only try and balance things a wee bit. Problem is, folk with major advantage don't want fairness, simple as that.
peter pandy Posted October 10, 2014 Report Posted October 10, 2014 if it was meI would have the birds at all the old race points that served us well for years sartilly / rennes / nantes bring the birds up the cherbourg penninsula that my opinion Us Peter's will stick to-gether on this one and I would definately second that. We have had jobbie racing since leaving the Cherbourg Peninsular route and why does English racing continental clubs all favour that route. Oh AYE and dump the stupid inland libs as well. SIX 500+ mile races just might encourage distance racing again.

hotrod Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 Just as I thought no answers , facts are facts , if only folk would open theirs eyes instead of looking for there own advantage ,it's just the same at fed level .
dkj Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 Just as I thought no answers , facts are facts , if only folk would open theirs eyes instead of looking for there own advantage ,it's just the same at fed level . who gets the advantage when liberated in the middle of england when pigeons can come both sides of the pennines into scotland. explain what you think
Smithy1 Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 who gets the advantage when liberated in the middle of england when pigeons can come both sides of the pennines into scotland. explain what you think Scotland in a dog leg, direct south of edinbugh is liverpool, dont think you get it dkj.you need to fly from ireland to make it fairer.
dkj Posted October 11, 2014 Author Report Posted October 11, 2014 Scotland in a dog leg, direct south of edinbugh is liverpool, dont think you get it dkj.you need to fly from ireland to make it fairer. makes no difference the winning pigeons come into scotland up the tramlines the a1 or the m6 unless the wind was to strong then they would alter a bit more east or west.

VMS Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 YpresReims ToursArrrasThat would do for me
hotrod Posted October 11, 2014 Report Posted October 11, 2014 who gets the advantage when liberated in the middle of england when pigeons can come both sides of the pennines into scotland. explain what you thinkWho gets the advantage davie ????? Well everybody east of me end of , but that's not why I would prefer eastern race points ,it's all about good races and good returns , if it's a bad race the only happy guys are the ones that's well in ,if it's a good race everybody is happy but the happiest of all are still the guys that are well in . Surely u must agree with that ?

Surely u must agree with that ? you sit a bad area. port glasgow but i think the best chance you got 2 win in the snfc. is coming up over the solway and never out the east far 2 much of a dogleg for anyone on the west coast coming from the east side of scotland
