Guest bigda Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) in all honesty will it matter you get them back, what would you expect from them, at there next race, would you place money on them to win again nope, just try the numbers game so as to maybe get a timer, if these birds turned back they will do the same the next time and as we have heard all about the 2% that would be right in every race that make it in race time , we start with 16,000 young birds at the start of the season we race with 9,000, the 25% left at the end of the year leaves us with 2.250 yearlings looks like we have reared a nice nest of 4 bops each per member, and there excuse is they are there to control the streeter but deny us the right to get our rings back from the nests then we should have a census about how many streeters are getting ate to justify it been there. a dont belive they eat streeters. Guest bigda Posted June 22, 2014 Report Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Many u hame bigda? I have 6 old birds left from 17 that i had getting birds back late has been a problemas 8 of them last year missed races due to been hit by the hawk, again they are hit or missing, and they will have to go before they get a new coat on them if they return as that is the doomens weakness, keeping all the doos when you look at them only to discover they missed half the racing that year, yet you allowed them to have a new coat and look good till next years race, where they will again let you down. Delboy Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 Hopefully not George The amount I've had back from there ripped to bits is a joke Otterburn has been my worst race for returns ( mostly latebreds) and bop strikes the last two years. Some may think that's hard to believe but its true. Im not a lover of the race point.
geordie1234 Posted June 23, 2014 Report Posted June 23, 2014 What about 12 kelsos then? Or fk it eurocentral open lol
