In our section, a very well done to Kevin Docherty, a cracking pigeon m8.Also, Eddie Porter and Jim Wilkinson these pigeons are class. Also, big Gareths blue hen is a bit special, shes scored in the last 3 ob nationals,Alencon, Clermont and Newbury, a super doo.( maybe get a wee sub aff her winnings ) Fingers crossed for her Silver award this year m8. Myself,my main doo returned badly hawked and that's him finished racing for good. Too late to make result, 4/7. Top notch pigeons timed all over, Mick Currie in Moffat and especially Moscow Masters in Ayrshire, hope ye win it Ricky, congrats.

Delboy.....sometime I wonder if comments are a windup, but your comment regarding the birds you sent to a National race.....very bad taste.

Ye don't know me , not one pigeon leaves my loft unless it is prepared, fit and healthy to do the job its asked to do.I stated before this race that my chances were very poor ( never before have I sent to a national with this view ) as I had old stagers going for a stretch in preparation for Tours and the other 3 had ??? over them. I was proven right on both points. Regarding the wind up, yes most is banter but not all.

hi just thought I would let people know a Cpl of people I know have had a bird reportedd already so that maybe where the missing pigeons are.

Amazing, even with very little strength in the east wind, pigeons still manage to take the easy option and go with the wind, WHY possibly down to a certain percentage of pigeons in the covoy that had 8-12 hours on the wing the week before, who were sent back by the members who were under the impression that they had fully recovered, when in fact, they hadn't. In turn, they take a sizeaable part of the convoy with them.

Clutching at straws, really disappoined that I have 6/12 home, one hawked and one banged it's keel, Two pigeons that have already scored within SNFC are amiss, should have been a walk in the park for the doos, but if the food is better in other parts of the country, then there welcome to it. No excuses as they were in a condition to fly 600 miles.

I had posted about this before the race and why I never sent , it's happened lots of times from Newbury , wait till Maidstone. And see how much better the returns are ,later in season birds prepared better not rushed into it and a better race point .also have noticed the dramatically dropped birdcage for Newbury , must be nearly half that went to the first race last year , is this a sign of dodgy racing leading up to it .or does the men in the know wised up to it .

if these doos wher conditiond to fly 600ml thay could have whent over to irland and back and blaming tired doos leading them astray rubish you had a good race with your first doo when you get bad returns just be like me and say thay where crap not unles you have lost somthing specal then you could pout it down to bad luck birds always get lost good and bad cheers
