Guest Gareth Rankin Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Good fly today from the Meldons, tomorrow Thursday, training will be from the Meldons.
Guest bigda Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 i aint in favor for our fed to use the transporter, for training as i feel it is putting on extra millage unnecessary, when there is a perfectly good training vans and trailers on the road, i feel there cant be much profit in the lanarkshire transporter with the new tyres to be got , and engine ware and tare i would prefer it was used as it was got for, to take our doos to the races as i wouldnt like to see the trucks worn donebefore there time, we have a Levy on these trucks and not all use them for training, but for race days only, and there dont seem to be any Levy on training we, north of the m8 seem to be the forgotten tribe once more, when it comes to deciding pick up points. for training, and for open races.

Guest chad3646 Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 bigda i think the committee will look at this at the end of the season,, and if they are making a loss ,they will decide what is best, the boys are trying there best, by the way i know where your coming from
Guest bigda Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 was this brought up at the agm danny no it was not, but it looks like the trucks have done the equivalent of a race or 2 in mileage with training, if its to be used have it as a race, and pay the equivalent amount of money per basket and start to used the head most that will use it will be on the ets get there clock set the night before, if needs must
Guest bigda Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 Dry your eyes m8 peter a take it you train your self and your are on the right side of the m8 but i know you would be the first to moan if on the race day it was your truck broke down on route on any given race day. dont think about yer self think of others
highwings Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 no it was not, but it looks like the trucks have done the equivalent of a race or 2 in mileage with training, if its to be used have it as a race, and pay the equivalent amount of money per basket and start to used the head most that will use it will be on the ets get there clock set the night before, if needs must well am not to sure but should the members decide that, in any case its us that will have to pay if theres repairs to be done
Guest bigda Posted May 1, 2013 Report Posted May 1, 2013 well am not to sure but should the members decide that, in any case its us that will have to pay if theres repairs to be done yes we will have to pay but we expect the trucks to pay for there self and hopefully in a year or 2 trasport cost will be reduced as we are a none profit making federationwe need money for a rainy day but never the amount we ammassed before it is hoped that we will have no fed fees to pay within the next 3-4 years we have the capabilitys now of making a profit from racing doos as all transport cost are our own and what ever we gave away before should see us now make the savings.
