Anytime after the Blackpool show, no real fixed date............... when the weather is right........... when the birds are right.................... and just as important I've gotta feel right.

The birds are looking good and are quite content but i noticed with the mild weather we have been having that my yb's were starting to pair up and drive so i seperated them and got some eggs in the hen side in the next few days afterwards...

13th/15th december or somwhere on that cycle

how do you cope at that time of year when the drinkers are frozen solid and ice over 5 mins after you re fill them , do you use lights to rear . I know my lofts are pretty open but over december and january the walls inside my lofts can be white with frost same as ootside , also do you use heat .

No Rab mate, we have lights but they are only on for feedingnormally between 4-4.30.

HEATERS!!! Grahamie would have a fit!!!! The money would give him another turn!!!LOL

The drinkers are raised and on polystyrene but to be honest we are at lofts before first light in the morning so the drinkers can be attended to then.
