Wiley
We use Gem all year round, we cannot say anything bad about the quality we find it one of the best on the Market. The price is handy too.

Fly_caster
Bought as a tester last evening - a 50KG bag of whole Oats - untreated - delivered for €15 in total ! Fed to my resting race team today, and for the forseeable future until February when they will be paired-up. Consulted quite a lot of fanciers and forums before buying and the resounding answer was that many had quietly wintered their birds on Oats and were delighted with the birds after the winter season. That is seriously cheap for us here. Barley was also offered, at £6.25 (€8) for 25KG. Cheers, Steve

Cheers, Stevegood move Steve , i used to buy the Barley at the same price and quantity ,but it wasnt rolled like the oats , so too coarse .if the Barley is rolled and cleaned i would go for that too.i used to buy it back in Wales ,i know one "sprint man" that done well hopper feeding it ,with additions when required. andy Burgess
Hi Andy can i ask while so much wheat, just curious we use the wheat for resting birds ,hens and stock around a third of the mix. also for our "white doos" around 50% of there mix all year round ,it helps keep the cost down. hope this answers your question. andy Burgess
Cheers Andy always steered away from too much wheat, thout it gave birds scoures, loose droppins etc,can honestly say the droppings are fine ,if you have reservations about the wheat, you can use barley (sold in same weight and price) and you definetly wont have loose droppings with barley .
