mine get greens at least once a week

 

 

i also have a juicer which carrots cabbage onions broccoli and garlic and what ever else i can get my hands on goes into it

 

the juice is given too the birds in there water 2 times a week all year round

 

 

prob the best thing i ever bought is that juicer

hens have lettuce in the month prior to pairing up ,stock get cress almost weekly .

yup give mine fruit and veg a lettuce every week , gone in a day if they didn't like it they wouldn't eat it

was told a long time ago not to overfeed lettuce as it contains lordinum maybe someone can shed light on this.

old guy in my club swears by giving chopped up sprouts during winter months when they are locked up.

yes raw but he throws them out after 24hrs

Any spare lettuce goes to my prisoner stock birds. they love it.
