Now that the youngsters competing in the SNFC Young Bird Open race from Leicester are underway, what speed do you think they will be doing today?

All the best Rab and Andy. I think the first birds timed will be into Ayton or Eyemouth at 5 hours, the first in the west will be 2 and half hours after this.Good luck to all

Young birds going over Redcar - too early for Combine birds (at 3 and a 1/2 hours for 200 miles for ours first lib)

Could they be Leicester or Peterborough birds? SNFC SNRPC

I am 146 miles flying Peterborough (no distance for Leicester though)

It is approx 136 miles from Leicester to Redcar, so it could be either of the Scottish convoys.
