Guest IB Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Again, it's a guess, and all depends on which forecast you look at. This one shows a clearing / improving picture from 1000 onwards, except Aberdeen & North of Scotland which clears around 2000? Race Controllers will have much more to go on than this though. http://www.forecast.co.uk/

flying fifer Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 Forget the work the birds welfare must come first it was always a possibility of a Monday liberation before the birds were in the basket

JADE Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 if they are going to lib they should wait till 1 or 2 so abodys birds have to sit out instead of just the north boys You can be sure whatever the decision there will be little thought given to any competitor north of the central belt. That goes for weather conditions and time of liberation. Theres a lot of heavy showers forecast in the north of england. They may as well wait till tomorrow now JMO
aye ready Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 this is where delay in basketing should be brought into effect, what stops us from basketing on a saturday for a monday race when other organisations seem to do it no problem,do we hire halls, drivers etc?if not and it's all pigeon clubs that are used for basketing i don't see the problem
alex wight Posted June 24, 2012 Report Posted June 24, 2012 so in other words FECKK the doos as long as your alright. get a day off the same as the rest of us.your YOUR ATTITUDE STINKS Fully agree with you Brian, this attitude doesnt do the sport any favours at all. And when theres a poor race its the controllers and committee that get pelters. Beggers belief.
