Guest stb- Posted June 21, 2012 Report Posted June 21, 2012 Robert what forecast shows north east winds, all the usual ones are showing westerly winds if some sort.there showing a cyclone sweeping in over atlantic from north west into france and sweeping back across north sea comming back in from east and north east . its been north east here all week again and the low pressure is producing lots of rain , its not looking good in general the weather has been pishe this year all round , i watched it on bbc weatherveiw last night and he showed how the winds are swirlling round and in , an easterly wind from maidstone in my exsperience is actually quite a fast race but the rain is very heaavy in long belts which is the down side , with loosing my old birds earlier in the year im not prepared to send my yearlings in those unsettled conditions ,its one of these races the window of opertunity will be very small
