Unfortunately this is becoming more common, and I personally can not see it getting any better, but only getting worsehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/emoticon-0138-thinking.gif as stated in a previous thread, these attacks are eventually going to kill our sport. JMO

Sorry about your bird Frank as Brian says it's becoming more common,to the point we are just about frightened to let them out to exercise.

Send the pic. to the RPRA mate,if they have no ammunition they can't fire the gun.

Terrible what they have to put up with Frank,Peregrine strike with tail missing neck cut open would be made by talon when the falcon hits them at over 100 miles per hour it turns underneath the pigeon and grabs it hence why so many birds return with part wings and tails missing witnessed it on many occasions if it does not get a proper hold and the bird escapes it was most likely with a batch at the time the peregrine would then attack another bird with the excitement if it had been after a single bird and had inflicted those injuries it would have caught it at second attempt don't want to come across as a no all frank but that's the way it is mate, got my last doo home from the national today unlike yours it was intact,Sorry about the doo frank atb mick .
