Henrik Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 Could all members please ensure that all Name and Address, Tel No , or marker rings are removed before presenting birds for marking.Also if you have a T3 please bring a Printer with you as we dont have one at Musselburgh.Also Clocks will be paid to John when paying your birds,as there were a few last year who didnt pay, £1 for each clock or ETS

You should have sent some sacrificial white ones if you were only tossing penny numbers.

ALF Posted June 6, 2012 Report Posted June 6, 2012 I gave my older doos intended for Alencon a good toss yesterday afternoon (Told the mrs we were going a run along the east coast) anyway i let them go in 3 wee batches along the east coast but fk me they struggled but my intended Alencon 1 came in the pouring rain last night and had lost a wee bit of weight so had tried to get hame and the other wan the red cock i timed fae Messac came today but no weight loss at all so looks like the cover doos have maybe copped it and he has hit the deck but with that rain earlier this morning i am surprised i got him today at all but i was delighted to see him when i went into the loft the back of 10 tonight :emoticon-0157-sun:

You should have sent some sacrificial white ones if you were only tossing penny numbers. white ones are just as easy as any other colour to be taken,we have whites and they are now 3 years old but we only send them to inland races because my sister in law in mentally handicapped and she only associates with white birds and we have found that whites are no more likely to be taken than any other colour,all the stories about whites being hawk bait are totally unfounded,a hawk will grab the first bird it can irrespective of colour,just my opinion though
