birds went to pontefract today for wed club [6 bird limit] liberated at 15.20 clocked at 17.16 for the83 mile into the n/east all 6 back and a good race all members have full returns ---so make of it wat you want ---birds were liberated in a north wind.

this might help with your decison for saturday when you look at the weather.

For me its a case of I'm damned if I do & damned if I dont. I've to jump mine 102 mile this week, if I dont send it'll be a jump of 125 mile the week after. Who's to know when this run of bitter cold northeast winds ends!

Our m/week birds were at Worcester and libbed at 10-30 am. the two leading birds were doing 1029ypm for the 80+mls race and most had 100% returns,it was a fine sunny morning at the home end and the birds were up in light ne wind.Hope this may be of some help.
