ovy1255 Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 birds went to pontefract today for wed club [6 bird limit] liberated at 15.20 clocked at 17.16 for the83 mile into the n/east all 6 back and a good race all members have full returns ---so make of it wat you want ---birds were liberated in a north wind.this might help with your decison for saturday when you look at the weather.

yeboah Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 With the forcast of temp in single figures mine won't be going anywhere big losses in our fed last week and moffat is full of lost pigeons far far to cold,if people wish to race that is there choice they pay the bills but not for me thanks

Tony C Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 For me its a case of I'm damned if I do & damned if I dont. I've to jump mine 102 mile this week, if I dont send it'll be a jump of 125 mile the week after. Who's to know when this run of bitter cold northeast winds ends!
