Well France are certainly the all round class act.

Just gelling too. Without doubt the game to see how they will pan out in the next season or two.

Yes I take England to win of course.

Yes patriotic maybe, but they do defend so very well and quickly break.

Then again France are full of clever little moves that can change a game. So tactfully and what not a very interesting game should be in store.

Ireland have without doubt one of the best managers in the world! No two ways about that...

Think that they will be too strong all round for Scotland.

Wales may very well have a fight on their hands, should and hopefully will win. But I wouldn't put money on that. think it will a late surge if they do.

Hey Roland,

Blind patriotism shouldn't affect your judgement that much - that England team has yet to meet the two best performing teams in the 6 nations, and until they do, the jury will be out! France being the "class act"....not so sure about that !

Wales made a job of Italy today - as expected, but will have a tougher job against the French next week, irrespective of the result against England tomorrow.

Ireland played well in patches today, and Scotland were poor in general! Whether we made them look poor or that they were poor all by themselves is a moot point, suffice to say they need a new manager - I think he's done wonders for them but they need someone else for the next level.

That reminds me, what's Kidney done wrong to you ? LOL,

Cheers,

Well Fly_caster there is truth in that for sure.

Mind I said France are the Class act gelling - like England.

I saw in England's game against wales that the back row had just 7 caps between them to Wales 100 odd. Like wise throughout the team. NO substitute for expirence, as you most likely know. Yet an expirenced and well motivated team at the top of their game and confidence should really have out classed England. Indeed run roit, for they certainly would have wanted to, and would have given the chance.

I thought yesterday that Scotland dropping and giving away penalties / the ball, was their' main fault. Ireland let them come and under let the Scots - under preasure - to do what they did, then Ireland did what they were suppose to do.

Italy were out played, out classed and do seem to have lost the spark that they have so often they start the season with... dispondency has taken hold.

Who haven't England met? The two best are .. :emoticon-0138-thinking:

Actually I think there is a lot of merit in that statement Fly-catcher. Ireland have lost three good match winners of inspiration, Driscoll and Ronan being part time, at best etc., due to age like, and a retirement or two. So of course need replacements, which, I feel, will soon be welded with new players in. But of course the likes of them will be missed for a while... as they are not plentiful to say the least.

England 24 France 10 Bias ref 12.

Good oppertunities stopped!

England 15 France 8 Ref 21, all for France.

Well done England, great rugby. Nice to see the French defence sliced open and some good, clever tries. You managed to do what no-one else has done so far this tournament... take the lead over them and keep it; and you did it away from home.

Can't say much about Rolland, there aren't any polite words in English for him. Showed a clear bias in France's favour. If he can't be neutral then he shouldn't be there!

That New Zealander yesterday was great. Forthright and let everyone know just what was what! And allowed the game to flow.

This idiot just stopped it...

As for the sending off, and after Forfarrs ... well that shows it up more clearly. A disgrace. Utterly and an dispicable.

Bring on Ireland!

Well fly-Catcher France down, just Ireland to go ... but that will be a harder chore I believe.

Hey Roland,

Yes - delighted to see England win - really!

Don't see where you get the Rolland theme from - he was neither that bad or biased I believe.

More heart and skill shown by England in that game than all of the last 4 years.

Roll on next week - it will be good.

Well done The Young Lions, three away wins in a six nations, can't be bad, I agree with Roland, I thought the Ref. was a bit iffy, What was that sin-bin all about?

I enjoyed the England v France game and I thought the English deserved to win. They could do a lot better if they had some decent backs and a front row. What a shocking Referee. I reckon he thinks people watch rugby to admire his performances, the silly fellow. Some of these Refs are terrible. How did Halfpenny get sent off because he was going for the ball.

I am looking forward to the France v Wales game because if we get a bit of luck and a decent Referee we should win the Grand Slam.

I am looking forward to the France v Wales game because if we get more luck and another "decent Referee" (like we had against Ireland & England) we should win the Grand Slam by accident !

Fixed that for you Owen ! :emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

Great to see you back Owen.

Yes improvement can be, of course it can, and will be no doubt made. Now one row has just 13 Caps between them, and the others just a handful... must be upwards and onwards. Expierence there is no substitute. Yes young and fearless and working for each other is a boon. Yet one must agree that this English defence, especially ion light of 'Newness shall we say' are certainly good, and boon well for the future. Not counting any chickens because one never knows regards any spanners are around the corner awaiting.

Think Wales can, and should beat France of course. One thing for sure the Welsh won't be over confident and will be a tight knit trying.

Think the Irish may well turn the English younsters over. They are overall a canny and clever expierenced side. Will be I feel a great learning curve for the English too.
