I used to go to Pitlochry years ago and seen this pigeon loft never had the opportunity to meet the owner till i went to a one loft race in Vegas met up with this old boy in a kilt you've guessed it, it was Mr Gauld had a great day with him RIP old friend

a man that tested his birds.if i remember right he drove all the way down to england with his bird to enter it in the B.B.C race,and it was documented in the fancy press,a good doo man willing to go to the wall,R.I.P. never did find out if he timed in.??????

sorry to hear this,last spoke to him a year ago and had a good blether,a partnership not afraid to test their bloodlines,RIP. :(

He did time in and a fair position given the distance and time of year.

 

I met George once when I bought 2 birds from him. Both turned out to be cocks. Liz and George made my kids and myself very welcome and passed on a few tips for the beginner.

I am sorry to hear this. My thought go to his family and friends.
