Approx.270 birds were liberated at 09:00.Broken cloud, sunshine and a light SW wind.Birds cleared north immediatly.GOOD LUCK

 

I would like to thank all race controllers,convoyers and fanciers that have helped me with line of flight weather updates.

Thanks also to Dave Barrie our convoyer for the care and safe transit of our birds.

CONGRATULATIONS to all fed winners this year in such a testing season.WELL DONE.

aye well done loons in what was a very testing season,

 

 

 

spose ats it for another 7 months or so, just feels like yesterday the season started?? time tae start making ready for next year i suppose??

by what i,ve heard there is good returns i have 1 home fae 2 sent .1 of my club mates has 4 hame fae 4 sent

i see alan ritchie was 4th 5th club with my yb bird being 5th club.. lol i cant get mine out of 130ml but on the east there doing 230 odd ml... :emoticon-0127-lipssealed::emoticon-0127-lipssealed:

 

alan was flying 249 miles and was 1st 4th 5th 9th

when i spoke to him this morning he had 10/11 home

4th and 5th had only 2 seconds between them

 

hes been flying well this year with 8 club 1sts

he phoned me earlyer to tell me how my yb got on. flew 8 races and that was its best result but it was comming good.. he done well with his old birds and continud on with the ybs.. am just sorry i didnt get a chance to race his birds due to a dissapointin yb season
