scott mca Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 Started at 7 miles 1 toss have moved up to 12 miles 2 tosses have not had any problems so far i am training at 5am before i start work only way i can get them trained early rise but will try and go at least 4 times per week working up to 25 miles.

big blue bar Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 i,m only training 5 miles this year prob about 10 - 15 times . if i go any further we get hit lost 3 last toss from 10 miles . think the birds just have to get used to coming out of the basket more than anything

geordie1234 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 that a shame can there be anything done i see some are having them big balls placed on wires dont know if they help thoughmines were away for hours ranging they came back 5 short so i just thought that they got out there depth or in with a batch! but i came home from work 10 hrs later with one lying on the top of my lofts skint to the bone with a broken leg so thats were ive came to the conclusion of the wires :cry-blow: :cry-blow: I have hundreds of wires at my house but they know they are there so no probs

Guest TAMMY_1 Posted July 1, 2011 Report Posted July 1, 2011 start this Monday weather permitting snap mate,our first toss will be about 9 miles and then every day after that we will move out about 10 miles and within two weeks we will be at Stone which is 35 miles and after a few times there they will be single tossed a few times before the first race which is 95 miles to start us off
