alex young Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 No axe to grind on this topic but a manager of a club of Celtics status should be above all this carry on.His aftermatch interview on the incident at the end of the game was at best childish.Scottish football needs to be given the respect it deserves.(just my opinion)
kelly tom Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 As a Rangers fan i have condemned the nutters who have sent bombs to Neil Lennon.I think he is passionate about his team as i am about mine.I was at the match yesterday and both sets of fans were a credit to their clubs ,at half time when the Rangers fans were belting out Penny Arcade the Celtics fans all turned their backs on mass and did a giant huddle. At full time again i thought that Neil Lennon let himself down with his antics he had already gone to the Broomloan Stand to applaud the Celtic fans for their support then why not walk of the park without having a dig at the Rangers fans as a famous tv star would say Banter my A***.
harky Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 No sympathy for the wee grass at all, his actions tell yi what this man is all about .
PATTY BHOY Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 The ibrox crowd dishing out insults all day against Lennon then he cups his ears and yous want him lynched, get a life and grow up.
kelly tom Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 PattyWhere did i say i wanted Neil Lennon lynched i said that he should have walked of the park after thanking the Celtic fans for their support. His team had just got a great result but he couldnt resist having a wee dig at the Rangers fans.

Hugh Dallas sent an email having a bit of banter he lost his job funny how celtic banter is ok but other banter is not
Guest Gareth Rankin Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 Surly a club of the stature of Celtic football club cant afford to have a manger that acts like a teenage ned from the east end of Glasgow. Don't think he will be getting any sympathy from now on from the Rangers supporters and one thing is for sure is that if Lennon fails to win the league then i,m sure his directors wont be long in showing him the door.
sapper756 Posted April 25, 2011 Author Report Posted April 25, 2011 Lennon to face no action Bhoys boss brushes off gesture to Rangers supportershttp://img.skysports.com/11/04/660x350/lennon_2589451.jpgStrathclyde Police and Celtic have played down Neil Lennon's gesture to Rangers supporters on Sunday. A complaint was made after the Bhoys boss cupped his ears to the Ibrox crowd following a goalless Old Firm derby. As a Celtic fan, I must say that Lennon is NOT a good ambassador for our club, I stick by what I stated on his appointment as manager, I did not class him as management material, but would be a good No2, under the supervision of an experienced manager.JMO

Guest bigda Posted April 25, 2011 Report Posted April 25, 2011 bigda here to enlighten the numptys, get this right there was never anything donewhen gazza imitated he was playing the flute, not one word from any rag paperor supporters and stabings. now a days they have selective hearing, it dose not wash with me a spade is a spade here, neil lennon has the indian sign on rangers and the fans dont like it. result is played 8 win 4 drew 2 losed 2 is that what this is all about you bet it isbigda as is.
kelly tom Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 BigdaPlaying the flute is not a crime,Gazza was subjected to death threats from Celtic fans but dont let facts get in the way.Your own fans are condemning Neil Lennon for his actions after the game on Sunday.Calling people numpties certainly strengthens your argument.I blame the schools in Coatbridge.

Roland Posted April 26, 2011 Report Posted April 26, 2011 Remember a while back when this 'Derby' was so violent that some from Corby - Mini Scotland used to go down just to watch the fighting. Was a time when any Coach seen with the opposing fans on was severely battered. Can't say that it was my cup of tea though. Indeed it was the violence that stopped me, and Millions of others going to the matches in the early seventies. Now is the time to - Like Norwich V Ipswich that ANY violence meant both sides lost 6 points. Ok that would leave the door open when a side wasn't doing so well as their neighbours to delibrately start bother. BUT then 12 points away from a side lanquishing, or only mid table would have to be careful of relegation. Now as for the Celtic V rangers games, a lot more points to be lost would / could certainly mean St. Johnson , hearts etc. having a good chance of winning the league. Now that would shut them up... outside a few brainless morons and cretins...
