Tossed 3 hens this morn on the van, all 3 gleaming, home ok. Tonight one of the hens has stayed out and was sitting hunched up on a nearby roof, ma doos don't land on roofs! anyway no amount of coaxing brought her down to the loft. About 20 mins later she had vanished and haven't seen her since :(<_< Any logical idea's about this behaviour??? Normally this hen is invisible in the loft, never notice her as she is always content in herself!

Hi John, is the huffed hen a yearling hatching her first yb ?? Sometimes this scares the sh/t oot them, ive seen it once or twice before.

When I left the marking station and into the local watering hole there was approx 80 birds in the baskets, wont be much more than that from our end.

These eastern racepoints are crap

WHY :(

Posted

thought they easern racepoints were better for us boys in the west to get some much needed overfly thats a poor entry from the south chris good luck with your two

i sent one 4 year old hen

Not overfly Frank a more appropriate mesurement would be the terminology i would use m8 considering the obstacles that our pigeons face when flying into this region.

5 section winners in the first nine open positions Reims ,not much wrong with that we certainly dont get that from weatern racepoints which are usualy dominated by the east.
