Sent 4, approx 180 from South Section, will be lucky if there is 1100 in total convoy, quite pathetic really.

Far too many races in the SNFC, in particular these stupid inland nationals, what value do they serve other than potential money earners.

I think you better check your distances Reims 20 miles further than Alencon

So what do you think will be the Final birdage and lets not forget this must be the Furthest Flying racepoint we have used for the Gold Cup.

aye reims further than alencon and le ferte the furthest

it looks as though there could be less than 1000 birds for the gold cup which is tragic. there needs to be a radical rethink by the snfc members and committee. i dont know the answer but i am beginning to think they will have to drop an inland race and i also think that ypres next week is taking birds away from the gold cup as some think it an easier race and the birds may go back to clermont. my suggestion would be Eastbourne (or Maidstone) following week Reims (or Alencon) two weeks then Clermont (or Falaise)two weeks then Bourges (or any 600 mile plus race they can get)

La Ferte Bernard was only ever flown once in 2004 and was won by W Kinnear & Son flying 557 miles vel:-1166 with 3168 birds  So in 6 years we have dropped around 66% in birdage. <_<

it depends where you live. peterhead do not get a good distance from reims etc because it is so far east. great for the west guys no excuses this weekend!!!

Reims 621 to me, Alencon 632 to me,, but Reims will be further to you than Alencon as Reims is further east,,, our overfly will be horrendous, infact Dundee is so close distance wise from Reims that I will hear clocky calling his arrivals in

yep the birdage looks like being terrible, but we all went to the agm and accepted the programme, distance increase and racepoint changes at the drop of a hat, gold cup, longest race and last channel race all further than previous years WHY? :( :( :(

i beg to differ rab reims to me is 590 and la ferte bernard was ONLY 580 so reims was further for me.

are you not rpra measurments?

yes i am frank but the difference should be the same . if you know wit i mean .delboy flying 577? i would get between 10/13 miles off him so my rpra measurements not that far away from shu ones .
