How many members have sent there eastborune birds this weekend ?

Posted

Mine are away to Leicester 257 miles. Some hens have done only 187 miles and have been unraced for 2 weeks, because they laid too late to go last week; others it's part of their roadwork for later races.

I have sent all my fit birds to Ripon 155miles, I will wait and see how they do and then decide what goes to Eastbournehttp://forum.pigeonbasics.org/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif

Went to Bo'ness at half six tonight for marking sat in my car for about 20 minutes made some enquieries as to why no one else was their only to find out the race was cancelled. Was told that organisers were phoning club secs to tell their members race was off but my club sec never received a phone call to tell any members that were sending birds. To say i'm Pissed off is an understatement :angry::angry:

this is my plan just now but could change . as i have never sent a bird over the water .it would be good to get a time in from over the water in my 2nd year back racing.

Well it's back to the drawing board for me, birds had a right stinker from Fed's Leicester race yesterday, 257 miles to me. Thought I was at a channel race , birds up at 0635 my club's result is spread over 3 hours of the clock, members first pigeons timed 13xx, 14xx and 15xx. I'm in at 1418, 2nd pigeon 1645.

2/5 sent yesterday (typical for returns), my 2 Eastbourne candidates home early this morning, and 3rd was still awol when I came on here, but she's slipped in at 1120.
