Does anyone know if the SNFC website will be updated this year, seeing that it was Joe Murphy that done it in years gone by. Like him or loath him, i found the site to be very usefull and interesting. So on that note, it would be good to see it continuing.

A massive mistake by the SNFC to let the best scribe in Scotland go.I hope the website continues but I feel if it does , then it will most definately have lost its professional touch.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion Delboy, like you i thought it was a good way of keeping up to speed with the way our national was going. Just hope that the good work done in the past isnt wasted by not updating it.

My understanding is that the former Press Officer duties have been split between 3 people. The Website was an external affair and responsibility for running it has been taken over by the SNFC Office. Secy Andy Garven will update it.

I believe that it has now been split between 4 people instead of 3 people.

 

Seem's a little crazy.

Why will you be sending it to him if he is no longer the pro for the snfc, would it not be better supporting the newly elected pro who was voted in to take the job, by not doing so you are undermining the position within the snfc

Yes he did mooche birds from the members in Scotland which was for the many good causes such as for the sales for the SHU, SNFC and his own sporting challenge that has been so successful in promoting the sport in Scotland, like him or loathe him there is not a PRO in Scotland that comes near to being his equal when it comes to promoting the pigeon sport in Scotland.

you are wasting your time willie don,t you know these guys have been blessed by father m----- and its true to say, gareth long before now was he the crawling type for eggs and young birds so nothing has changed , and don,t think we have forgotten what he,s done to the auld yin leaving him out the centenary  book and  can,t even acknowledge the fact he has passed away , and have just a little corner even in the the 2 journals that come out weekly to show at least something but no he has a short memory when the auld yin helped him out long ago now but should still be in his mind , i don,t know how he sleeps at night heavens knows .
