overcast with rain not far away in Livingston and I bet when I go out to work in the taxi some of the drivers are still wearing  8) and there is no chance of sun by the looks of it today

Early on lashing it down started to clear about 08:30.Looking brighter over the Solway coast but the Lake District is completely blacked out.
