Every day except xmas day and the Sat of the Blackpool show in the winter. Racing season 2 or 3 times a day. Don,t like deep litter but also been in lofts who use deep litter and it suits them but not for me.

Old bird and y/b loft every couple of days but stock loft floor has not been cleaned from January although the nest boxes in it have been ;) I'm seriously thinking of leaving the stock loft floor and trying to break the sh!t down with something as it is as dry as a bone and is a great deep litter...

New regime, I scrape out every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, in the old loft and new loft aviary, deep litter in the new loft sections raked over, big lumps removed and sprinkled with Stalosan F on a Friday :)

Just feed and water at the w/e :)

All perches etc. scraped and sand on floor sieved once a day. In winter (due to dark nights) it is left for two days in eight when I'm on 12 hour dayshifts. Only do this cause it's the way I like it looking but think in a good dry well vented loft deep droppings litter would be best as the dust etc will stick to the droppings and get covered etc. I just don't have the patience to wait that long and it would annoy me. Some people never clean the loft floor from year to year and the birds are probably healthier (no dust) than most. It's all down to personal preference and time etc.

My lofts are cleaned out twice a day everyday, probably with the exception of Xmas & New Years day.

We have done this for years, as we prefer to have the lofts spotless.

With work in the week....just clean once a week this time of year.  Use harkers loft white and paving sand(dry sand).

In racing season widow cocks and hens daily....young birds twice week.  But stock(except for nest boxes) weekly.

I scrape out the lofts I look after  once every day because they have stone floors , and Liz cleans out the lofts she looks once a day but she has easi- bed in her lofts and they have wooden floors

Limited daylight hours plus the birds are deep in the moult, so can only get them cleaned out at weekends. They are on deep litter which I turn over at weekends.
