Because of the huge entry into Newbury three 7.5 tonne vehicles were used and once these were loaded to capacity there was 7 baskets extra, to combat this problem a relief vehicle was used - not a van as the tittle tattlers and the political point scorers have quoted but a pick up truck that is the same as any other transporter with Racking for 32 baskets, fibreglass roof, drinkers that run the full length of the vehicle.

The pigeons that were on this vehicle were from the South section to which they had outstanding race and returns inc 100 positions within the first 300 open positions.

well said gareth. at last someone you can trust to give the truth in language we can understand instead of the rubbish from those who talk in riddles just to try and stir up trouble and is now trying to justify his garbage

i never thought for a moment that the snfc would have sent birds to a race in a transit ,no chance . thanx to gareth for setting this straight . ps  would it have been kenny youngs wee transporter ? we have raced from that once or twice .

Think your right hotrod... I never heard anything about a transit being used but did hear that some went on Ballochmyles transporter which would be Kenny Young
