andy Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Birds timed into Liverpool at 1340 from Falaise, off same time as us. Made a mistake its 1245 so even faster.
jimbhoy29 Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 Made a mistake its 1245 so even faster. this is my 1st channel race but dont think ill see anything untill 2 morrow sometime. just with the wind being north west
midnight_son Posted July 18, 2009 Report Posted July 18, 2009 That 12.45 time in Liverpool is from a 6.30 liberation according to their libline so that makes it even faster. According to the "as the crow flies" website Falaise to Liverpool is 335 miles and they're doing it in 6 hrs 15 mins. Thats over 53mph. Quite quick considering they were unlikely to get much help from a West wind going into Liverpool.
