I wonder if this outbreak will run right through to the start of racing like last year.

I received message from gateshead fed, saying as from Monday all birds to be kept in, no gathering of birds /poultry allowed and shows cancelled

I wonder why this always crops up just before christmas ,its been the same for a few years now i think.

Plenty migratory birds coming into the country at this time of year.

That is incorrect information and has now been revised. Shows are allowed outside avian flu zones (but nobody within those zones can take part)
