jast Posted March 12, 2019 Report Posted March 12, 2019 If you type in Colombo in the search on Viovet’s page, it’s under prescription med, but you don’t need a prescription
Delboy Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 (edited) do you think any jag stops it like ???? Aye, nobivac is sound . I get it from Meditech. I’ve had pmv 3 times and twice I was using colombovac and the other time it was chevita p200, both are water based and no use imo.Seemingly colombovac had loads of complaints about their product. Happyflyer Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Where do you think the best place to vaccines our birds neck on leg...
REDCHEQHEN Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 If you order by post - phone them - ask if they send in a cool packIf they don't - buy from elsewhere There are many who do not comply and just post - not very well packed at that - the vaccine needs to be stored and transported at +2°C to +8°C There are a few who do comply - but they are in the minority If you do use Viovet on line - try also using the discount code: VVLOVE for 10% off in March It will offset the postage charge!
leslie24williams49 Posted March 14, 2019 Report Posted March 14, 2019 Where do you think the best place to vaccines our birds neck on leg...Under the loose skin at top of the leg, safer without a doubt, when was the last time you had an injection in your neck.
REDCHEQHEN Posted March 14, 2019 Report Posted March 14, 2019 Typed columbovac in their searchbar mate no results Typed columbovac in their searchbar mate no results There is actually a PMV Vaccine called columbovac - it is not approved in this country, it is made in Roumania by Pasteurand is an inferior product - I have seen evidence of it's availability in this country - so do be wary It is COLOMBOVAC that is approved

PIGEON_MAN Posted March 22, 2019 Report Posted March 22, 2019 Where do you think the best place to vaccines our birds neck on leg... Why would you go against the manufacturers recommended place, I have never seen anywhere other than the neck to vaccinate recommended.
Roland Posted March 23, 2019 Report Posted March 23, 2019 Why would you go against the manufacturers recommended place, I have never seen anywhere other than the neck to vaccinate recommended. True. Naughty injections - not to be seen - are aside the breast bone... But why? Not to be seen. So I'd say other places maybe apt. I inject myself with insulin - Diabetic - Belly or leg. To take a blood sample Fingers … Or arm. So why I believe the neck is because it is easier to inject between the skins! Which is - or at least was the recommendation. J.M.O.
