My apologies. I just posted the pdf file as it was the one I was compiling the lots into for sending to the fancy press. The full list - that everyone can see (no pdf!) is here: http://www.pigeonbasics.com/forum/blah/m-1204591516/

The 'thing' that makes links clickable automatically (without the need to put [ url ] tags around) didnt pick it up because of the colour tag you placed around the link. Have edited and made it clickable now Grand video

Just to confirm that this is right. Many thanks racer.

It is sad that the wrong end of the stick has been taken. We as pigeon fanciers and falconers are not the ones against one another, indeed read behind the snipes and many points we agree on. We are more and more frequently falling victim to hawk and peregrine attacks, on the road and in their back gardens. This does bring anger and outrage, as would be expected if your prize pigeon had just been killed by one of these ariel predators. However this need not be confused with frustration towards falconers; to whom our anger is not aimed, but may become entangled in the middle. We are at a loss to why legislation protects these birds after such a successful breed and release programme, if only anecdotally has increase the numbers to the greatest in living memory. I reiterate, it is the increase in numbers and frequency of attacks from wild raptors that is infuriating us fanciers. The seemingly continuous snippets from the RSPB and other groups who have been seen to be proactively supporting these raptors in finding new nesting sites, sites in which may not be in their usual habitat. It is neither unfair that pigeon fanciers or falconers are defending their livelihoods, hobby and passion with such vengeance. I have locked this topic.

Just to note I have removed posts digressing from the subject in hand, and others. This topic is as Jack has laid out for him to put up his writings and questions may be asked where confusion may arise, or where clarity is sought. If anyone wishes to put up a similar series of articles where differences in opinion arise, please contact me and a similar scenario may be setup.

List for bidding will go up tomorrow. The auction will last 2 weeks (finishing Sunday 16th March) - more details on the auction listing. I've sent messages to everyone who donated via PM - will get through the list of others just now. If there are any more details to correct or add to your lots please let me know ASAP. Pigeonbasics will be unavailable for a short time either tonight or tomorrow night. The lovely people who provide our hosting are upgrading our server. The outage will be between 11pm and 5am (most probably around midnight) so shouldnt effect too many people.

I've been in email correspondence with Darren Harrold from Unikon. I am awaiting his reply.

Apologies I missed two donations off. New list attached.

Attached is the auction listing compiled from PMs and posts to this topic. There are many lots which require more information - remember it's going to appear in the fancy press If you've donated a lot, please check it over, and send me any additional information or corrections. Huge thanks to everyone who has donated already.

I have past information indicating that this is a scam or a scammer. Do not partake in any business with this member or his website.

The thread was not deleted. After being left for a period of time to run its course it was merged with the thread 'My Website'. As is done with all (that I see) threads that are put on about 'our site' or 'my new site'. If the thread was setup to link to other clubs' websites I'm sure the wording would have been different. May I remind you the correct way to question a moderation move or remove is to message me, and await reply. I see that you did send me a message however circumstances are that I am yet unable to reply.

Everyone is probably awaiting an update. :B I'm getting through the lots donated (big thanks) and compiling a list for the website and for the fancy press. Its taken much more time than I thought :-/ I'm away most of from now until Sunday (Greater Distance Club presentation) but I'll be working on the list (because I wont have an internet connection most of the time), and I'll post it up as soon as it's done. I am highlighting the lots which I need more information, so once it's up if that could be forwarded to me Thanks for the recent donations - it's not too late - every bit helps.

Big thank you to everyone who has donated, I will PM you all individually tonight, or tomorrow. There will once again be an advert in the fancy press with the auction listings. And this year it will coincide with the last weekend of the auction, accepting telephone bids. But as always I'll give the precise rules and details at the time the auction list goes up (soon). With it going in the fancy press I really could do with as much information as possible about each lot. So if you've donated (I'll send this in my PM to you too) please send me as many details as you can at the first opportunity. That way we can make this auction a big success If there are any late comers that wish still to donate anything, please just send me a PM.
