The south road semi final. The birds arn't drawn against one another. If there are two that race Saturday and two that race Sunday highest velocity KOs the other for that day. If there is any other combination 3 Sat 1 Sun, etc the semi final will be held next week. In the 'just for fun' the channel members have been drawn against one another (because to me it looks likely to be a holdover tomorrow for you all). The rest have been drawn normally. Here goes; -------------------------- South Road Semi Final -------------------------- See above --------------------------- Just for Fun South Road --------------------------- carlsberg Hullavington 113 miles vrs DFisher Wakefield 167 miles sapper756 Ripon 155 miles vrs casbri Eastbourne 195 miles taylorsloft Northallerton 196 miles vrs valiant Selby 174 miles raymcdonald LeMans 226 miles vrs mickmcgrevy Falaise 323 miles vrs carlsberg Lessay 270 miles (1 KO 2) -------------------------- Just for Fun North Road -------------------------- Greenways Scotch Corner 196 miles vrs carlsberg Alnwick 156 miles vrs schyphos Ripon 190 miles (1 KO 2) All the best for tomorrow

Bit of a dilemma isn't it! Personally I think leave the draw for now. If 2 race on the Saturday, and two on the Sunday they can go head to head (looks to be as if that could be the case - Portland basketing Sat, and Eastbourne doesn't look good for the weather tomorrow). The chance that 3 race Saturday and only 1 Sunday I think we postpone the KO semi until the following week. Bit of an odd one I know, but it's all just for fun :) Any other ideas?

Mini Sites A-Z Updates
Webmaster replied to budgie's topic in Website News, Views & Computer Related Info
I leave the mini-sites online for the reason... if someone isn't updating them they'll get a reminder from someone in the club or an email from someone looking in. Quite often I've had someone signup for a mini-site when another club member has set it up already - I point them in the direction of that member to offer any help, unless the mini-site hasn't been updated since 2006 for example, which I'll just transfer it over to the new applicant. Quite right though bugie, I'd like to see them all updated every week -
Any more for any more :)

At this point - for whatever reason - Gladdo isnb't here to tell us what is going on. There seems to have been some misdemeanors on Gladdo's part, however he isn't here to answer these. It is for that reason I am going to lock this topic here.

Recently a member posted some offensive material and then within the 15 minute window removed it as to not face any repercussions. It was as a result of this that 15 minutes was reduced initially to around 6 minutes, however after your message (which I replied)DoveScot I have increased it again to just over 10 mins. 10 mins to read over a post I feel should be ample to check spelling mistakes. If you require any more time, there is infinite time if you use the 'Preview' button

Regrettably or not in the past a lot of things have been let go, and perhaps people not taken to task in every instance; however you may have noticed that this stance has recently changed. Following various comments received and consultation with the rest of the moderating team we have all agreed that a more rigorous stance on the Rules and code of conduct are to be applied. We would be appreciative if anyone does spot a problematic post before we do to press the 'Report to Moderator' link by the message in question - this will help a lot Now in accordance with the code of conduct I'm locking this topic
