It's young birds and it's in Ireland, That's all I'm telling you
  2. Well done Scott and dad, you must be looking forward to getting the youngsters in there
  3. Yes Steve, I've had Percy knock birds down on the fields and time I've got there they have been be-headed
  4. That could well be true in the case of the female as she is so much bigger and more powerful, She literally snatches and goes so little chance of seeing the outcome, I've not seen a head off in the male attack and there have been many in the last few years
  5. I'm waiting for his mate to arrive, nightmare
  6. Rescued one a couple of days ago, not so lucky today
  7. I think 12in. gives them more room to fly on, B.Leefe have got some great grey plastic ones @ £11 per 10, really strong, can be screwed direct but come with a "u"bracket you can screw on the wall and the perches slide in or out, the wings will pull out for easy cleaning
  8. What's all that about then, why are they keeping you out of clubs ?
  9. I've not had a case for many years, I think using the calcium remedy the bird recovers in 2 or 3 days, I think that causes us to think it's Cal. def. when in fact the hen has made up the lack of Vit B herself in this period. Please someone try the Marmite solution and post the result
  10. I'm surprised how many people blame this, surely everyone supplies grit
  11. Vit. B12 def. small cube of bread with a smear of marmite or bovril straight down the throat, you'll be amazed

I was lucky today, My wife looked out the window and said there's some feathers there, I shot out the door and a male Gos was holding a Dk. Ch., it shot off and I walked over to pick the bird up and apart from a few feathers missing no damage, just lucky the wife looked out at that moment.
  15. Yes I've had one in my barn for years, our son saw it last year and said can I take it home to do up, I said please do, It is yours anyway
  16. I see Healy has been cited for stamping on Cole which led to the fracas
  17. Well done, looking good
  18. If you can afford all those clocks why not invest in ETS, On a serious note of course ETS will always have an advantage over clocks, that's the reason it came about, to make life easier for us all
