  1. Out of that list of BOP's quoted on previous message, only peregrine, goshawk and female sparrowhawk are able to catch pigeons
  2. Totally agree with JPH, living in West Wales I see all the BOP's, the female srarrow hawk is by far the greatest killer of pigeons

  11. Egg laying not an illness but takes a lot of nutrients out of the body, not the best condition for racing

  20. thanks boxer, i'm in carmarthenshire, still got 40 birds, been here 23years, had cattrysse janssen and buschaert but they are mixed now but still fly well, got to here with the enemies flying about lol billt

    Hi lads, new to this site, not raced since 1986 back in southampton area, now live in west Wales, still have 40 birds and get attacked almost daily, peregrine, goshawk and female sparrowhawk but its amazing how good the birds get when they live with this, seen one blue hen out stoop peregrine from great height, had to do lap of the yard to slow down.
