dal it's not a personal attack on you, I know you and your family have had the birds for years as I have myself, but here's my scenario, This youngster was tossed miles from home on a dodgy day by the sound of it, It's one aim is to get home, for whatever reason it failed, I guess we'll never know why but it has persevered and 9/10 months later it's made it, whoopee and you put it in the bin, I have more respect for mine and am still of the opinion that those that don't shouldn't have them

    Just Arrived

Why would you not give it a chance ? It's survived out there and we know it's a tough place to be for our birds, As for the ones who recommend bin/bucket, I think you should be banned from keeping livestock as you give a stereotype image of pigeon men/women
  4. Good positive effort by that club George

  12. That's classic albino problems, not blind but certainly limited eyesight, true in all albinos including humans. Both parents need to be carriers of the albino genes to produce these so would advise to split the parents to avoid further.
  13. I asked this question on one of their live cam sites a few years ago and was told they are all reported to the RPRA, I replied that I had never heard of a fancier being informed and was cut off so I'm guessing they are binned or made into bracelets
  14. Perfect plans John, Good luck with them
  15. Very nice John, The stand-out ones for me were the nest pair of late-bred hens, I hope you intend to race them, They look born for the job.

  22. What made you think it was two males Peter.?
  23. Good Bill, Glad you got it sorted
  24. I wouldn't, he wasn't stealing eggs to break but to rear for falconry, to fly at pigeons as they are an easy target when racing, It's illegal to take eggs from British birds nests, he deserves what he got.
  25. No shortage of birds with me here in West Wales, all from my window today, Heron Goldcrest Great Tit Blue Tit Coal Tit House Sparrow Starling Magpie Jackdaw Nuthatch Lesser Spotted Woodpecker Pied Wagtail Dunnock Chaffinch Robin So not all doom and gloom here
