They are a very well written wee read. In the style of a short series of stories relevant to the time when they were written. The change of author is noticeable, especially when all the specifics begin to be pushed. Very dated, but nevertheless, still enjoyable.

Strangely, my current situation has dictated that I race latebreds every year. They race out to 165 miles fairly successfully, return wise. Started with 18 last year and ended with 12. Similar the previous year. Last year the previous ones went to 280 miles with 3 / 3 and some others that didn't go as far, probably around 6 or 7 all out to 200 miles. Just have to take them a bit slower, but some of that is down to my setup and allowable time.

Ian, does 10% or some such, of total sale go to Charity fund as well. When we had our sale this was the case. I cannot remember the correct transfer to charity fund, but even with the £30 and the transfer, our Fed still made some money towards our project.

Good padding at the base of the tail and tail goes down, not up. These are usually two indicators of a strong back.
