  6. IMO hens that go through the natural breeding cycle don't need anything else other than grit, after all they've being doing that since the year dot. Taking eggs away and letting them go down again is another story. Giving grit to prisoners even if given supplements is good for their wellbeing.

  11. The fella who run the training wagon took it of the road a couple of years ago. Being inside the M25 and with the implementation of the 'low emission zone' meant it just wasn't cost effective for him to get the engine converted. Thanks Boris.

  15. I held my own with untrained old birds this year Walter as my w/hood cocks exercise with zest but racing youngsters without schooling is unfair on them.

  19. Nothing wrong with the rings at all, no fading of numbers or problems with cracking. I would say at least 60% of my fed use these rings even though were situated in the south east of England. No poaching involved, we looked for alternative rings when the RPRA issued rings with lugs on to accept ETS chips. The RPRA shot themselves in the foot by not giving fanciers the choice of the type of ring they wanted which rubbed the conventional clockers up the wrong way.
  20. I guess that's how it got the name 'poop deck'
