  1. Celtic there's a couple of things you could try, put a clip-on ring on his non ring leg and tie a piece of string (about 3 inches) to that and his ring, you do this so he can walk and get about but as soon as he fights he cant get a decent purchase/foothold as hes unable to spread his legs. Another thing you could try is to put a piece of cardboard on the front of his nestbox so he cant see out, this sometimes helps.

    Peanuts

Peanuts bought other than human grade should be given 20 seconds in the microwave, a couple of handfuls at at time, kills of any nasties.
  4. Chief conveyers portable weather station!!
  5. marvin could it be that they're gorging down excessive ammounts of grit/minerals? I would remove these from the loft and see if there's any change.
  6. This may be of some interest. Derby Gran Canaria Classic 2006 NOTE FROM THE ORGANIZATION, January 2006 Dear Fanciers, Due to the Bird Flu affecting Asia, and some parts of Europe, the Spanish government, mistakenly in our opinion, placed a preventive ban on the pigeon sport, and did not allow any pigeon release in all Spain during the past couple of months. We have been lucky that Spain's Government later on decided to transfer the decision on whether to allow pigeon flying up to each Regional Community (Canary Islands in our case). Most probably this upcoming beginning of February the prohibition will be lifted for the Canary Islands. From that date, if it is confirmed, we will start the Derby GC 2006 training release again. Fortunately, we had several land releases done before this ban. Of course, this imposed ban has negatively affected the schedule of the final and other releases, and we will inform through our web page, once the final day of the ban is confirmed. Our team plans to meet to organize the competition according to the new schedule. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Best Regards, The Organization
