  5. My son-in-law is a twitcher and visits Sennen Cove a couple of times a year, he tells me there's 6 pair of peregrines there alone!!

Lost 6 out of my 24 w/h cocks of which 5 were winners (double winners & Fed toppers between them) compared to others in club/fed I got away with it light!! many good pigeons missing but why? surely it cant all be down to the weather :-/ can it? Indirectly I think yes in as much as we start racing far to early.

  10. Write down in your loft book what you treated them with, for how long and when you started exercising them again. If you cop it again next year give them a weeks extra rest before exercising again, sounds like the y/b/s never left them proper. For now starve for 24 hours then light feed for a couple of days (pellets are good if yours eat them) no exercising for a week.

    Started racing in 1989 and have always started them of at the same spot which is 14 miles to me.

  19. I remember a good few years back they done over 2000ypm out of there, wont be nowhere near that today but with a clear run could do 55mph which would make it around a 9 hour fly to me lol I'll be out there after 7 hours though the mad fool that I am ;D Thanks for the good luck
  20. The new road (or bridge) is at the top end of the journey cutting many hours of the travelling time.
  21. If you remember Bob we used to mark on a Tuesday for this race, changed to Wednesday marking 8 years ago or so when a new road was built and we got there much quicker. Its been a Friday race for as long as I can remember but the way the British weather is we lib on a Friday once out of every seven years at a guess.
