I've investigated the grains I picked up this morning and none were swollen which suggests they were thrown up not long after feeding which in turn goes with the theory of overdosing with Flagyl. On cleaning out though their droppings weren't exactly perfect they weren't what you would expect to find if YBS had taken hold (green & sticky). My intentions were to starve for 24hrs but instead have decided to feed them an oz each today and observe. If their crops are as flat as pancakes by the morning I would have learnt a valuable lesson. Why did I treat if they were coming so well? I thought they took a little to long to bounce back after the weekends race, Oh! and Paranoia T_T ;D Thanks all for your replies.

I honestly hope I've overdone it rodders, rather it be that than YBS. How do you give them 50mg each, I thought the tablets only came in 250 mg & 500mg and you have to cut them in half or quarters whatever the case maybe.

I did treat them yesterday morning with 125mg Flagyl each but have never encountered this reaction before. :-/

Yep P/F/S I've got it...... Pigeon Fanciers Sickness that is. Went to basket up my babies this morning for a training toss and found corn on a couple of perches, YBS has struck. Gutted. Can happen to the best and the worst of us :'(
