Seems as though our Fed may have a ( sensible ) change of heart. We could be going 88mls instead of 133mls. Now to me that makes sense, they were going to keep to the programme of 133mls after the fiasco last week and there was quite a number of first time pigeons ( mine included ) that wouldn't be sent. So why not bring em' back to 88mls and fill the transporter. Will be sending a full team 31.

Our birds being brought home so no race for us this week.

Also TONY C winning his club again this week and by 14 minutes. Won't be able to talk to him soon. Congrats to all winners, good flying.

Redcheqhen, I use Epson compatible and the company I use is called UKDVDR so if you type that into your search engine you will see. They are the cheapest I've found and I've had no trouble with leakages.

Must admit, I'm breeding more youngsters to try and compete against the mob flyers. therefore the chance of losing more. I cannot in over fifty years of racing, remember heartache like this AND IT'S NOT ONLY THE YOUNGSTERS. But you know, at the end of the day, no matter what we may think or what may be decided about alternatives , racing will ALWAYS be goverened by the weather.

Firstly folks, I chickened out of sending ALL my youngsters and sent 10 only. I ended up 2nd and 4th in the general club beaten by 7secs and 1st in the 5 bird club and won the noms. I got 9 home. That's not the reason I'm telling you this, I was walking through the bar and failed to see underfoot, one sleeping dog. On standing on it, it had no hesitation in biting straight through my shoe and into my foot, blood everywhere. Straight to Hospital for me, a Tetanous jab and a course of antibiotics. On returning to the pub after three hours, some b-----d suggested that it should of been the dog that went for the Tetanous. LOL LOL A NIGHT TO REMEMBER OR WHAT !!!!!!!!!!!

We're at Littlehampton, 88 mls, sending 32 with fingers and toes crossed. This is our clubs first yb race this season so sending with mixed feelings.

Most enjoyable Westy, Nice one. Even the wife watched it. I was a little concerned about the liberation point, with the thick wires and heavy trees hanging about but they seemed to get away OK. I'm sure we'd all like to see more.
