Hi Folks,
My question refers to Widowhood cocks. I have a friend who races Widowhood in a North Road and a South Road club. He will win one of those clubs most week ends. What struck me on popping round to see him was that the Widowhood doors were wide open with the cocks contained within the loft by a wire front. All of his young birds were strolling the lawn. When he lets his natural pigeons out, the Widow cocks door remains open. The only time he closes them, is when THEIR HENS are out.
We talk about closing the doors and resting the cocks, does it really matter as long as their CONTENT. ?
