Redchequer hen, I know where you are coming from, and you are of course 100% right. Unfortunately too many aren't doing as they should. Yes and some spout the rules etc. .... and take no note of them. Had one club mate training my bird for thes easo etc... has now transferred it. Another trying to do the same... Gave them a few youngsters, but they keep forgetting conveintly to do so. I will infute make sure ALL and any future birds I let others have will have signed the transfer forms etc. and I WILL send them off.

Can't see them NOT getting a drink Wiley. Mind if they forced a bottle of water down their throat they will still come home well dehydreated. Well you know, in the twilight of things, and when fanciers have calmed down a mite, isn't it the same throughout the past 70 years or more. Where and when VERY many charities and help we have given, birds, money etc. etc. we have so often been let down and sometimes - sadly nary a thank you. But then again that is what we pigeon fanciers are in general. Good hard working and only ever too be helpful, to lend, to give, always endeavouring to give a willing, helping hand. Joe Public has, as we so often spout, have no idea what good Samaritans we are. Has it stopped us from helping the next moving plight, deserving scenario, and dug deep to help. No! Of course not. May that long be the case. Yes he is a despicable low life cretin. Does he care? nary a jot. A hard case? Maybe. But at days end it is over and done with, so best let it lie with the other garbage and ill treatment often metered out to us. Now that won't stop me, and most of you all, from helping out again as needs be. Many times not even getting the well deserved thanks, but next time we are there and long may that be. Further lets face facts and realism here also. the Mods and Fifer have no more way of knowing than flying in the air what any good cause will end up being or doing. So lets be sensible here are never lay any blame of any sort at their door. After all, like us they are sometimes duped as we all are.

Well I have search DAFRA nothing there. Have searched the RPRA and WHU etc. nothing there. Now it is a simple realism that if this was so, then these governing bodies would have enlightened the fancy, Simple fact that I believe.

Absolute rubbish and nonsense. I can't see how DAFRA would / could say that! Pigeons are live stock after all. Do chickens as such, finches, and canaries have to be rung etc. No of course not. Indeed much poultry and 1000's of different species of pigeons and other birds don't. So that is luidruss to say the least. Put the couriers name up and I, and many more, would never use him again. Like the hose pipe banns it can't affect pigeon keepers. dAFRA can't, nor do have it both ways.

I think bolts and washers are better mucker. Easier to take down or alter without any damage. JMO
