Isn't it about time, and I'm asking, and also putting a point across, that we all Emailed the Reddings to Levy every member £2 - that's less than a pint - to put into place a P.R. Firm? Isn't it about time we got our clubs to propose and second the Feds, and then the Regional RPRA to put into place a P.R. Firm. In short isn't it about time we made a effort and have the case put forward that we need - for £2, an able P.R, firm for the many reasons that I oft spout about! This also to be to put across a campaigne to attract more members also. Remember we are getting less and less each passing year which in it's self obviously means dear costs.

Of course Blaz and I agree.... That could very well be a second, or 33rd or 4th string to the bow. Always pays to have a frew strings back up for use. I raised a lot of money twice to buy transporter for a CLUB I am in. So all hunk and Dory at a meeting further down the line - One must remember mostmeeting are in the close season. I proposed 2 or 3 other means of fund - raising. It was Boo - Hoo out of hand! I then stated that though the club at present had a little cash still over and in the bank, time was NOW! to enlarge and stabalise the club, besides a Rainy Day' is oft just around the corner! All on deaf ears.... Now they want cash, need cash for the last two seasons.... play a hint, but I don't bite.

No disrespect, have seen it debated a few times now, regards the Reserve price being posted up front. I tend to agree and feel it saves a lot of needless and rejected bids being made. Also obviously many won't bid.

To splint or not to splint, that is the question.
Roland replied to Peckedhen's topic in Health & Feeding
Found light wrapping sellotape /masking tape around a few times makes a great splint. And a darn site easier in awkward places t o get at. Norm half a match and masking / selotape does most jobs. -
Think you best syringing a egg with Anti Freeze.

Yep Sam your right there you're wrong. I should also so I'm right in being wrong too! ;D ;D Have bought them too.... but never wore one. :B
-
Well simple put! If they were, or in any real need of money, have, or yet to have any money problems, then they would be sold on. Never mind the Man City and such, Liverpool as of now would undoubtedly fetch the highest price for any British club. Man U. and Chelsea not being in the maket .... and with the new buyers small chane left over they could probably buy both and Rangers and Celtic.... Indeed, probably make a half decent side between the two of them.... with about 10 more new players lol ;D ;D

Seems to me, that most are more interested in a pelican eating a pigeon in Trafagar Square than than the hundreds, thousands, being eaten evey day by BOP... get real here!!!
-
You know, in reality, the post here are crap! Factual and true! :o So what a pelican eats a few pigeons! No bleeding heart here, so what a pelican eats the odd pigeon here and there! So what... Get real and grow up, BOP are eatin 100's, if not 1000's a day, but just who gives a sh**? No bleeding hearts here, who gives a sh**? obviously not those that care and want an end to it!!! BOPS are killing and eating over half a million birds a day!!! Who cares? obviously not those that should!!!

Tip don't eat yellow snow Now I like one ;D ;D

No, and further go for it. There are very few 'Resident RULES' that try and bann the keeping of pigeons... none that can't and haven't been sucessfully challenged. Meet the nieghbours and be a friendly idiot - for keeping pigeons - and you'll do fine!

Dear all, I write this as a letter, for one or two reason. Yes it is regards the BOP problem, your's and everyone elses. I have had three positive offers of donations… very much appreciate. A certain gentleman, whose name I sorry I won’t give out, nor will I or would I ever any ones name. But he stated forthright and up front that he was a widower, and not of the best health wise. Yet though he was by no means a wealthy man, just receiving a stat pension for himself HE was willing to save and donate to us £200 to purchasing certain thing the sport needs. He knew, yes was in no doubt that the sport was in the most serious trouble regards BOP. He, further felt, that the sport needed preserving, not only for generations to come. As for the future he felt there couldn’t, nor wouldn’t be one! Even for the now younger generation flying now. Now that not only made me see sense, but also showed what a great generation we have derived from! But isn’t it the sad case that those that have loved this game, see the disastrous affects BOP are having YET it is the OLDER ones prepare to put their hands in their pocket so preserve and try and save this sport for many of those not even willing to try and help, and preserve THEIR own past time / Sport now. It is a crying shame really, that these very same ones will rallying around and support just about any charity you care to mention. That the ‘Fancy’ in general raise umpteen thousands of pounds every year to donate to worthwhile and good causes…. Yet can see their way clear to help themselves… even whilst watching their birds that they care for in every other way being eaten alive by BOP. But of course explained, best I could, that I wasn’t able to take up the offer as such, nor would I in the future! I need three 'Willing' names to handling money. YOU need three willing names that shall, and will have to remain an ominous for obvious reasons. If one can’t comprehend that, then sadly they will have to have it explained by those that do. Action needs to start NOW! Never mind about tomorrow, never mind the lame crutch of ‘Others’! This sport, our future generations sport we’d are custodians of Now! NEEDS hands at the wheel today! Simple that surely†And to the kind pensioner, I will again say thank you very much for that very kind offer, and also for those like-minded on here that are too! Thank you.

Like Mixxy with Rabbits, allowed to buy, and to store and keep, but illegal to put it down ... of course that goes down every October, but has very little effect outside of Scarring them around the eyes etc.

Yes Albear very true, and to think any company would not do any homework / research and just rush in foolhardy. We would not want that either of course.

To being able to PM. Couldn't send or receive them.

Sorry was writing when you posted. Why not try contacting Jemima Harrison who produced the BBC programme Pedigree Dogs Exposed and get her on the side of the Pigeons and I'm sure she will do for BOP what she did to the reputation of pedigree dog breeders. You never know it just might be up her street. Exactly, and very many more. I loved realistically for those that donate £80,000,000 a year, and the £20,000,000 bequeathed to be educated just what their money is really used for.

Please let knock on the head the spelling of a P.R. Person! this is of course not the case in any scenario, it's a P.R.Firm. Several work at a topic, and many different inputs are mulled over. Much different aspects, etc. etc., and the endeavouring what they feel is the most positive mode / road to take in the interest of the employer. After all they want good results, want more business, and a good Inn needs no bush quickly, so results are everything to them in the long run. Never let us again relate it as ‘a one-man band’ please. Yes they are from £5000 and less... hence why I banter £30,000, this is what a good reputable company is now charging. Further, especially now, and I KNOW a few, there are many MP's, and EMP's that want and need to champion a cause! One EMP's father was a very well known and respected flyer.... son was really peeved when no a single one bother to write or Email him of the Avian Flu thing for example. Albear did a great Email to copy also, and other and I sent that. I have 14 letters from the House of Commons. Did you know that if written to THEY HAVE to reply?

With all due respect A PR Firm is a company of several, not, and never, just a one man band. A think tank that puts over the best way for say the General public can, and will visaulise it. Have fingers in pies. Have contacts to the media, have 'Mates' that write, and Tv etc. with stories to run. A professional mouth piece that presents and TALKS proper in achieve the message getting heard with the impact which is needed. And so much more. Expertise is theparamount.
