Well great news! Yes the P.O.B. has now formed a committee. The final name to be decided by the new committee. I feel though that it will be P.P.O.B. But of course as of now, I will not be the one making any decisions. Fortunately any and every decision will be via the committee! We do have 2 signatures for the trustee’s posts, and are waiting for the third to come back to me. Which they will very shortly they’ve informed me. If not, then another ‘Name’ to be trusted will have to be allocated for that part. Then an account will be opened. There is such a lot to get into motion, and we ask that you all, bear with us, show patience now, and always. Please never be saddened if there is not much apparently happening on the surface, let me assure you all there will be a lot in the back boiler room! I, for example, believe it believe it not; have worked what seems to have been 24 / 7 over these last few week. Correspondences have been ceaseless. I have taken on board and council from one or two – could have been many more of you granted, but time and choices have had to be quick and affirmative. Striking whilst the iron is hot so to speak, in order to get as far as this! We have now, I believe, well past any other projects’ stages in this regard. In fact you can rest assured it is, and has. The rest now is up to ALL of us! YES we have the put into motion the means, the people to actually do the job. BUT Remember yours, and every increasing support are and will always be needed! For instance never want to see boo- hood and derogative remarks use. Let alone spouting how great and able such concerns as the RSPB are. We know that any way. But if we pull together, not only will we all prosper, but chip a bit of paint away and place a few dents where needed to be seen. Just who will hold what positions will remain anominous. I personally feel – as I have always stressed - this will be run on very much ‘Need to know’ Basis. Besides of all the time debating on forums and each other, I feel this will just way lay us No need to be constantly reminded that the committee will be constantly working for ALL our benefits, whether one supports us or not. There will be a spoke persons elected to put it to this up on this forum – and other forums. Our / your concerns, via the Owners / Mods permission, what the committee has / have decided. Maybe this, and I for one would love to see it, on the main notice board. Likewise a page that is purely for constructive thoughts and proposals where only posts for the uplifting modes be allowed to be posted. Any others to be as quickly as possible removed. There are plenty of other pages where the Saboteurs / Hawkers / B.O.P. / Cockers can post without disrupting our much needed space and pages. Further of course WE can all be responsible in fund – raising and such. Stu’s very kind offer of being an Auctioneer should, I feel, be taken up. Likewise the proposal of us having our own sales at Blackpool. Gareth Rankins’ vies and thoughts do need carefully considered with a view of putting them in action. Well I have brought you up to speed now as to what has been accomplished, and I feel all of you, who have supported this motion, can all be proud of yourselves. So, as the saying goes ‘Upwards and onwards’! So much to do, and so little time eh, but with your shoulders at the wheel this wagon has started to move. Jargre, I see where you are coming from and agree.... However getting this up and running, getting certain Members / persons to put up and take action, to join us means that they need to know, and be able to discuss, bandy about a few ideas. After say Tuesday, there will be certain things that have been put int place abd effect. Yes, then this topic can die off a bit. Just realistically report any and everything that they need to know.... the need to know of course will NOT be of any interest to the B.O.P. brigade and contingment / lap dogs and followers. Yes such things as Fund - Raising and what not. then mostly what HAS been put into effect. I hope that members can bear with this for a short while longer. This is the most crucial part of the whole exercise. Yet I believe, feel, that this is by far the furthest any such as this has ever gotten. i know what you mean but it could also be seen by its enemies. Enemies as one might ascertain, can and will become members and indeed read our very posts and thoughts. No two ways about that. Further I have decided, as said all along, ALL and any person that becomes a member will be an ominous. No two ways about that. Yes just one / perhaps two trusted persons to relay thoughts / posts / updates etc. would be needed This is simple to do, but like the above poster states, eyes will be every where, and the last thing this project needs is ‘Spanners’ being thrown into the works. Thanks Merlin, Owen and all. I must say, and I don't wish to belittle any and all the other elements that have been brought out in regards of your’ views. The many other things this sport needs, or has a lack of. Yet I sometime feel that we are in danger losing sight of our first, and what I regard, main objective. That is the threat, the real threat to our fancy, namely the B.O.P. We must walk before we run surely. If this very real threat isn't controlled, slowed up, then everything else may well become irrelevant in any case. Secondly, we do need a voice, and ---- you've all heard my rants and going on about it, a P.R. Firm. I feel that these two elements must take president over all else. So yes the means to combat and improve our sport, then it's standing with Joe Public etc. I feel once this is up and running, other things can certainly be taken into account, indeed will fall into place. But as we are all aware, it will take cash. No two ways about that. I realise, only too well, that I need to take on board others help. Others persons are needed to form a committee as such. Others for all important input etc. etc. Three names to be prepared to have the cash account in their' names. 3 names I believe are needed to authorise payments. This needs implement I feel to safe guard, or stopping any misplacement of funds so to speak. Further, I realise more than most, that I can't afford to alienate any support, especially through ego, or as some may think foolhardy actions. I/we can't afford any silly slip-ups, especially in the early days. Hence why I ask, and take others views. Sometimes it feels like I am the unselected leader lol. So therefore more so the reason for quickly getting that sorted. Yes it could very well work that the committee isn’t named publicly, or on here, just a mouth piece to say what is happening, and taking fresh data into account constantly.

No it's not really Cocker, far from. Indeed I find it hard to believe that anyone posts such rubbish. A. No one has to accept. If a cat goes onto a garden and kills anything the owners are responcible, whether they like it or not.... and there isn't no such thing as a Lincense to roam,... it's an over used myth! If dogs go sheep worrying the Farmer is entitled to shoot them. Of course they have, so in reality any one and every one should have the right to protect their' belongings, home or birds etc. etc. Now as for nature,and that garbage statement, IT is alien, 'Not Natural' for BOP to be in Towns. It is not natural, nor right, that a concern can just come along and set up a Perry / B.O.P. nest etc. OVERLOOKING a fanciers pigeon loft as is often the case. Yes, if not, there should be a channel of redress here. It is not natural, yes many seem to thing it is, for kids feeding a pet, or birds to see it suddenly caught, torn to bits whilst being eaten alive. Indeed it is a sad day that so many unfeeling and sadistic people want it to be a part of the norm! No none of that is natural. None helps to give kids, and adults alike any respect for wild life. Agree again regards new members. This is of course paramount.... yet I tend to feel that can be better addressed with a P.R. Firm aboard and giving leads. Their conseption of how the public view us, to get away from the clothe cap breeder of flying rats for example. JMO

Think it is there only way to go. Have been trying for quite some time for this very happening. We need to be moving towards helping the very idea of Corporative concerns competing against each other. The work done via Loft managers etc. as the One loft races are.... or in calhoots. They'd be required to purchase and buy. Have point structures and prizes flying against each other. The clubs / Feds carry on racing per norm. The one loft then to be feried, transported via the Feds etc. Costs of course , or to a large extent, picked up by the Corporative One loft race sydicates. THATis just for starters. Means cheaper racing. More compition and merit. Then also very many worthwhile fingers to dip into pies. have put all this up before a few times.... yet to get it into focus with many.

Well fortunately, it is coming to the stage, and quickly, where I have to be beholden to some others on here. Others whom have offered support in regards of our P.O.B. Time is where I have to think of others, think of their' thoughts and views as to just what I can do, or can’t do. Just what and who to I can write too. Indeed does one, or is the general consensus happy with the slogan P. O. B. Protect Our Birds? I have took up my pen again for a few articles to be placed hopefully by the BHW / Racing Pigeon etc. No I haven’t submitted them yet of course I haven’t. For am I, or will I be standing on others toes? It may well be my style of writing; thoughts and how I put it over could ruffle a few feathers. Certainly I have had success before; certainly I will *expletive removed* a conscious or two. I may get some to come to our way of thinking. But most certain I don't want, or need to, alienate helpful persons and their’ endeavours to achieve the same goals we are all straining for. For instance others on here may have a different outlook, may say 'I don't want to be associated with Roland, if his views, his way of putting it in the public domain. Are close to the knuckle, or just a mite away from upsetting some. Some whom may well be of help if not upset. That’s of course if indeed I do upset any. Yes we are moving forward at last. I believe we can all seen interest growing and hope at the end of what will be a long and arduous tunnel to go through. But hope we now have, though small and yet growing, that not only will there be light at the end of the tunnel, but much needed fresh air to breathe.
