You remind me so much of me. Was a time when y/b's went 35 miles first chuck in different directions anda 65 miler from the coast week of their first race, and had great results. Thought nothing of a couple of 20 miles first and second chuck and into any race as y/b's.... But been brought down to earth with a bang this season. 2y/o's and yearlings just started training this year... losses very bad. A new learning curve yes! I'd forgot a simple equation. My former teams had been weaned out over a few years, What was left was proven reliable stock and were capable of my ways. Yes they'd had to be, and one never really takes stock when first strting out just how many birds one really loses till their team has been honed and sorted. Once dusted, one knows pretty much what liberaties one can take. Know and their capabilities. So have now 34 y/b's. Losing a few of the top.... something again never hardly happened, just 1 or two. But again, one forgets it used to be that way when first starting out. Yes have to admit I've have a rude wake up call.

Report me eh! lol You'd have to stand in a long line there mucker.

Good, thought you'd be too busy trying to sort out a flipping crow lol ;D ;D ;D

That's what the ole Game Keepers use to do. Only time you'd see a magpie for that matter was hanging on the fence or pole, and in a cage.

National are for the chosen few, just their location. So what! ... many Feds are harder to win and have a lot more birdage! Up North has a lot, but most sweeping into on line areas. Now when a loft is a 150 miles to the West than many, then you see real flying. South is a lot easier Rd. to fly than South for starters and I fly both.
-
NO1 your opening post just show how little you really know or understand. In a West wind, and depending on the strength of the wind North road pigeons fly 300 - 400 miles or more over water! Fact! Now when you can work that out maybe you won't need to, nor come on here to spout rubbish.

Full name Liverpool Football Club Nickname(s) The Reds Current season Liverpool Football Club is a professional association football club based in Liverpool, England. The club plays in the Premier League, and has won more trophies than any other English club. The club has won a joint-record eighteen league titles[1], seven FA Cups and seven League Cups. The club has won the European Cup five times which is an English record. The club was founded in 1892, and quickly became a strong force in English football, winning five league championships between 1900 and 1947. However, Liverpool spent several years in the Second Division (level 2) during the late 1950s, and did not win promotion again until the appointment of Bill Shankly as manager in 1959. The club traditionally played in red and white, but this was changed to all red in the 1960s. Under Shankly's management, Liverpool won three League Championship titles, two FA Cups and a UEFA Cup; the club's first European trophy. In the past 30 years, they have been one of the most successful clubs in English and European football; they won four European Cups between 1977 and 1984. The club experienced a lean period during the 1990s, but saw a revival when they won a cup treble in 2001 and the club's fifth European Cup in 2005.

The Heysel Stadium disaster made the club infamous in Europe; 39 Juventus fans died after a wall collapsed as they fled from charging Liverpool fans. The club was involved in another disaster four years later—the Hillsborough Disaster— which saw the death of 96 Liverpool fans in a crush against perimeter fencing. Flames were added to the club's crest in honour of the Liverpool fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough. Both disasters have had wide-ranging impacts on English and European football, and the club to this day. Liverpool F.C. has played at Anfield since its formation, but plans to move to a new stadium in Stanley Park, which was due to be completed by 2011 but has been put on hold until economic conditions improve. Liverpool has a large and diverse fan base, which holds long-standing rivalries with several clubs. The most notable of these is their rivalry with Manchester United, and Everton, with whom they regularly contest the Merseyside derby.

at a £5 donation each, that could well be 6 - 7 pairs of Eagle owls kept where they do most good.
-
Makes a little cheerful reading, http://www.albertaclassic.net/hawks/hawks.php Ofcourse Perry and co are all the same to Mr Owl, bless his little talants.... or should that be talons lol ;D ;D

Agree of course. Many of us, and some very good flyers don't have a stock loft. - I have at the moment one. So if at retiring age of say 4 or 5, I know some go longer but as a cut of point say, and you still have it obviously, then A. it has told you it's worth and merit as a racer, or should have, and some inkling as to a breeder.
-
Of course you can As long as the neighbours don't mind... humanly culled. If a good shot I guess that is humanly done... if not, then perhaps not so human. Any way, yer'd only get one or two shots in. As soon as you point anything else at them they'll gone .... just out of range, and work in pairs or more.

-
Yep B/W, you have us all strapped with you abundance of knowlegde. FALSE AND FAULTYFIED.... We can't make up our minds whether you are 'Blissfully ignorant.... or ignorant in bliss' :-/ :-/ You certain aren't capable of even looking out for, let alone looking up any facts.... 'A legend .... in your own mind' :-/ :o ;D ;D ;D

None so blind as those that don't want to see. Was an article, and still, how the owners have £35 million interest to pay and £350 million so called debts. Yet is so deemed to then then could taken it out of several accounts to clear that up. Chelsea have a lot more debt B/W.... but don't see you harping on there... Nor about Man U. etc. So obviously you wap side biased views remain in the realms of ignorant bliss lol 8)

A good terrier will never give up on getting a rat, and that's for sure. Will tunnel and dig, bury it's self getting them. Loft could well become un safe if over run. Digestive biscuit mixed with peanut butter and laced with anti freeze left in pipes around the loft will certainly sort them ... but the stench of rotting rats can be unpleasant to say the least. Catch two big dog Rats ones and starve them. let them then be together. They will when really hungry fight to the death and one eat the other. Starve again and release it.... would feed on the others and clean them up. Better still if a couple can eat a few baby rats, then that is all they will ever eat nigh when they get a chance, and can and will go where other rats are. But unlike mice which eat constantly, rats tend only to eat when hungry. Eggs left in pipes injected with anti freeze will certaily work too. Like they will with the Crow family.rapping is also good, and no need to have just the one string going but serveral.

Don't think so B.W. You obviously haven't got the first clue, let alone any idea how big money works.... Best stick to the minnows like Rangers etc. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Mind I possibly, with hindsight, have PMed Albear before posting that. But know that he will take it in his stride, also as to what he may or may not think about it. He is a deep, meticulous thinker, often putting another side to any equation. So know whatever he thinks or does in any regards he has thought about it first and no one, but no one will twist his arm or lead him where he doesn't want to go.... Indeed a first class member to have aboard in any capacity in any concern.
-
Lol Vic, glad your about mucker.

I feel, and not putting Albear under preasure, but he has penned some very similar motions / Emails etc. to be sent in the past. I'd reconmend him ....

because that is his opinion, this is a site where within reason, you can have your say, its the most liberal site of its type on the web, there are people who will abuse it,as there are in everything in life,we should count ourselves lucky this ring piece got caught before to many people fell for his bs No far from the most liberal site. There are one or two others moreso, and one great one, was undoubtedly the best once that was really liberal and was great because of it. Having said that, I would in no way slant this site, because it is pretty consistant and fair, and gets most things right most of the time.
