However, the immediate prospect of the fight with Joshua hinges on the fact Wilder has the option of a rematch with Fury and has 30 days to invoke a clause in his contract. Yep this has been banned from happening time after time! Sandy Sadler / Wille Pep again? - Sugar Ray Robinson etc. Money talks... Now if Wilder beat Tyson … and don't any say that that couldn't happen, then it would be one each and a draw... and a big clamber again for a decider. By that time Joshua- with slick matching again has - been and not too clever will be ready to join in with another farce! That's Boxing eh!

Have to say I didn't give Tyson the credit before... Mind will say that after the lay off, I feel, believe he has come back far, far better and with all guns firing. A return? Another £31 Million or more? Willie Pep and Sandy Sadler scenario? Any way well done Tyson, I take my hat off to you. When wrong, I say I'm wrong. Yep I was wrong lol, and pleased about it!

    Winning!

Lol. Same as the Irish Notes. Their value is slightly less than the English … Ridiculous I feel though. But then when in Euro, a while back, they all seemed to clamour for the English pound as to the Euro. Now the thought remains, If a item in Scotland is, say, £20 Scottish, same with Ireland, I have never ever been told it is only £18:75p if paying with a English Pounds! YEs some can have it both ways I guess lol. Indeed never ever seen adverts, for say Cars or Hotels, advertising the different if the pound prices! Now here's a thought. I exchange £200 of English £'s at a Scottish bank and receive, £267! Yes in Scottish pounds! I bet they would have a red face. Next time I'm having a break up there I will try it! In the mean time I will try to save £200 lol

    Winning!

I guess many West Ham supporters would pay part wages if he moved to manager another club lol. Gosh he could make money from say Rangers and Celtic supporters via promising both lot 'Never to manage their' Clubs'. Lol :emoticon-0136-giggle:

    Winning!

David Moyes says 'Winning! Its what I do'! December 2109. 11 Games later 1 win? 2 draws and 8 loses.Yeah, of course it is lol!

    Training

Done a few of them for Clubs. Worse thing I did was not listen to a good fancier from Spalding. Get money pre season. Then they will back and send their birds … otherwise they use it as bus service... use as and when.
  7. Brilliant. Give it two weeks or so to dry … else birds will be marked. New a very good farmer, who had his loft in one of his fields. He was a very, very good fancier. Every two years he gave a couple of labourers, I believe, A week-end chore of cleansing his lofts to the bone. Droppings went on gardens etc. Then the lofts were splashed and every crank and nookie filled with Creosote. Left a while to dry out and then birds put back to breed before racing. Never had any ailments etc. Birds always a picture to look at, and results were top notch.

    Blossom

Never before have I seen … Or can't ever remember, but the Maple trees are already full of Blossom. (I think of hand, could be Larch)
  9. Careful Hidoo… very many in this pigeon fraternity will spout up and against any such thing. Yes even write to the B.H.W. etc. Some had it it weighed up great. Places to breed and ring, and let go … well did till many objected.
  10. Regards Cats... On the fence and loft, all around the garden I have an electric wire. 12 volt. legal too. Never had a cat where the line runs to. Had one on the loft (Once) that dropped in from the trees. Didn't like getting off lol. Never seen it again. (Also run a line across the centre of loft roof now. Had a cat walk on a V(upside down) covered with carpet gripper rods. they walked along it as if it wasn't there. Then found a cat jumped a couple of roofs and got on the conservatory. That is all lined with a electric wire. Have had a cat viewing from a shed, and a house two doors away... they don't come near. Then, as I have put a fence onto of my walls, But fixed the batons this side, I had a Cat sit on the wall and looking in. So I ran a wire along the wall. can honestly say have seen a cat even near my loft since I built the loft and was without the electric fence. Soon had the mess in garden and foot prints on the concrete loft's floor.
  11. Good post Treble D. One thing that gets up my nose - Steve cram saying that the 'Chinese should have their records taken away! Not the eastern Block And certainly the biggest drug cheat of all - 5 times at least failed Olympic and World championship tests allowed to keep his. Like when Ben Johnson lost his Olympic title, 7 of the 8 failed the drug test. Yet Carl was allowed to keep it as 'He, unlike Johnson, is good for the sport! EEK! You couldn't make it up.
  12. Glad I'm not forced to court/marry a Scottish woman then lol :emoticon-0136-giggle:
  13. True Treble D. Paula Ivan of Romania topped Slaney’s world mark in July of 1989, running 4:15.61, before Russia’s Svetlana Masterkova lowered the record to 4:12.56 in Zurich on Aug. 14, 1996. Masterkova’s performance represented the peak of an unusual comeback. Masterkova was an 800-meter runner best known for winning a silver medal at the 1993 World Indoor Championships when she took a maternity break from competition for most of 1994 and ‘95. When she returned in 1996 she decided to run the 1500 as well as the 800, with great success, winning Olympic gold medals in both events. Eleven days after winning the 1500 in the Atlanta Games, Masterkova ran her first-ever mile, at the Weltklasse Grand Prix in Zurich. Using the same tactics that worked in the Olympics, Masterkova set a fast pace and literally ran away with the race, with no competitor near her on the final lap. As of 2015, Masterkova’s record hasn’t been seriously challenged. The fastest time between 1996 and 2015 was Faith Kipyegon's 4:16.71 on Sept. 11, 2015. Shades of seconds. Gosh: Women's British Mile record: 4:17.57. Who Zola Budd When 21 August 1985 Weltklasse Zürich Zürich, Switzerland
  14. Chanting! We are too busy laughing. A. hearing you singing about something 800 years ago that never happened lol. Gosh we laugh also when thinking what other countries hearing think you are on about lol. :002: On a lighter note was good to see our world champion girls on song: Women's Six Nations: Scotland v England https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/rugby-union/51451217 What a try! Scotland (0) 0 England (22) 53 Tries: Bern, Breach, Dow 2, Scott 2, Hunter, MacDonald Pens: Scarratt Cons: Scarratt 5
  15. The Welsh was reprimanded just a few short seasons ago. Booing is not a happening in Rugby. Scotland went one further than booing England, especially Farrell WHEN kicking for goal. But not happy with that, a few mindless yobs did the nation an shameful and dishonourable service by throwing bottles etc. (Maybe plastic ones at the coach) beside the … Yes admitted it is a few moron's with little regard of decency, but 99% of good and decent Scotsmen's can be tarred. Was a time in Soccer when supporters were happy to have a rattle, hurl an insult at referee, and booing. Agree with that! Part and partial of the game - but not the unacceptable behaviour at a International Rugby match. https://www.bing.com/search?q=scotland+rugby+fans+throwing+bottle&form=EDGTCT&qs=PF&cvid=33393752de6d4e2dbc2c188a1dcff5b2&cc=GB&setlang=en-GB&plvar=0&PC=MSE1
  16. A lot of time in this day and age. Indeed many a pigeon race has been won with less time advantage.
  17. Jemma Reekie broke Laura Muir's British record for the indoor mile in New York - a week after taking half a second off her fellow Scot's 800m mark in Glasgow. The 21-year-old ran four minutes 17.88 seconds at the Millrose Games - the third-fastest indoor mile behind Ethiopian great Genzebe Dibaba (4:13.31) and Romanian Doina Melinte (4:17.14). Reekie took nearly a second off Muir's 4:18.75, set in Birmingham in February 2019 when breaking Kirsty Wade's 31-year-old British record. Reekie ran the first 1500m in 4:00.56 in New York, which would also have been a British record. Last week, British indoor champion Reekie beat training partner Muir as she posted an 800m time of one minute 57.91 seconds to beat Jenny Meadows' mark of 1:58.43 from 2010. Reekie won double European Under-23 gold in Sweden last year. I tell you what, Muir and Reekie are going to be a handful this season. Ok have Safia Hansen etc. But ...
  18. Yes Ryan, but teams have good players side lined. Maybe England have a bigger pool reserve of good players. Day's end I feel England edged it. Strange how much 'Kicking' was done considering the wind. Mind I think, also, Scotland applied great pressure first 15- 20 minutes of the second half, Failing capsulise and lost the game there.
  19. Well to be honest, if the score for Scotland V Ireland had been the opposite, No one could have disputed the score. Scotland gave away far too many penalties, especially in kicking for goal. Even the 22. So what I have to decide is. Is Ireland no longer the force that they were 18 months ago, or has Scotland rapidly improved? (France put together a great plan to beat England. Out witted them. Youngster full of fuel and zest. Scotland of late have played a fast and quick passing game... Feel that is because they lack weight in some departments. Plus Japan showed again that it is the way to play … not certain to win off course but be there at the end. Likewise Scotland. they will play with extra tenacity for sure against England. Feel it will be a topsy turvy game, decided by who makes the most mistakes. If England can produce - of course - the game against New Zealand, then England will win. No two ways about that … But we don't know what Scotland has in store for us. I take a fairly comfortable win for England - Of course lol

    Louella

When starting up again in 1984, after a short break, I was fortunate enough to have some good fanciers as friends. I had a mixture of youngsters for free. Did attended some sales etc. but couldn't afford such. Any way the number of good fanciers saying to me 'The best way to start up, for good birds is Go to Louella and buy 6 youngsters. Also any good widowerhood flyer and get six late bred. They will ALL be off good stock and set you up well for the future'. Indeed many did with great results. .

Mark Gilbert buys every year. In fact set up - mainly - with Louella birds. Indeed his first International winner was pure Louella stock. Going to a 'Fair Auction' of Louella and they always named who bought it if not in the room. The amount of times when the phones went quiet and no further bids in the room it was often announced 'Sold to Mark Gilbert'.

I think the commercial element has taken hold … Money now for Drugs, aids and propaganda setting in. The silliness of believing that money (Wasted) brings results. J.M.O.
  24. What a double eh! Scotland's Jemma Reekie has taken half a second off the British indoor record in an invitation women's 800m race at Glasgow's Emirates Arena. Reekie, 21, posted a time of one minute 57.91 seconds to beat Jenny Meadows' mark of 1:58.43 from 2010. British indoor champion Reekie beat training partner Laura Muir into second, with the four-time European Indoor champion finishing in 1:58.44. Reekie won double European Under-23 gold in Sweden last year. Both coming into their' time too. Reminds me of 1970, Stewart set a European record and world's season best time[3] when he recorded 13:22:8 to win the Commonwealth Games 5,000 metres title. This was one of the greatest races of all time and he defeated current world record holder Ron Clarke, Olympic 1,500 metres champion Kip Keino and fellow Scot, Ian McCafferty. Stewart produced a last lap of 54.4, Keino and Clarke could only finish 3rd and 5th, respectively. What a duel eh! What a runner especially Ian Stewart was eh!
