I have a blue hen with a broken keel, she's a bit accident prone, but a tough nut she was my first bird back from a 450 mile race this year and broke her keel during the last race of the season which was a real tough one with nigh on 40mph west winds across the channel I only have photos of her when she hit the wires as a youngster and nearly decapitated herself - but these are the only 2 accidents she's had (evil) Forgot to say, she's a granddaughter of Sumo

Have you isolated the bird? Have a really good look at the eye, I have found on odd occasions that there is something in the eye - which I have rinsed out with cooled boiled salty water administered with a sterile dropper to rinse out the eye (not just a drop)
